I decided to explore Google Docs as part of lesson 2 and I'm sold!
I made a powerpoint with Google Docs for a grade 8 class to show them some hints to making a powerpoint. Surprisingly, these students really do struggle when it comes to this!
I also tried out Touchgraph and I REALLY like this tool as well. It is visually appealing and very helpful. I think the students are going to love it. I typed in “Mars” and got so many links!
My plan for this week is to use both of these with the Earth Science 11 class for their Space/Planets project. I'm excited to hear their feedback on both of these.
